Two pound frozen block. This size is most economical for owners with a large dog or multiple dogs and cats. Easily able to defrost and portion the diet into smaller units. Meat 70% lean and 30% fat mixture of grass fed/finished ground beef and ground pastured chicken backs.

70/30 is for health challenged pets – challenges include chronic health issues such as arthritis, chronic skin disease, obesity, diabetes, autoimmune disease, cancer and seizures. These animals do much better eating a ketogenic diet, geared to help them burn fat instead of sugar as a fuel source. Sugar feeds cancer cells. The goal is to starve cancer cells while providing the patients energy through fat burning.

Transitioning your pet to a raw food diet can take some time. Every pet is different and may require a unique protocol. Gradually increasing the amount of raw they eat over a 1 – 2 week period can help, but it may take up to 6 months to fully transition with some pets.
